Now paying $0.90

As of today we are now paying $0.90 per pound for new crop, well filled out pecans (both papershell and natives). The price we pay is based on the pecan market and is subject to change.

To sell your pecans at the Pecan Shed, please take them to the west end of the building...look for the big red arrow. We are open 9am until 5pm Monday through Saturday. We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

We cannot buy pecans that are cracked or shelled. We also cannot buy pecans that still have the green or black hulls on them. They need to not have a lot of leaves or "trash" of any kind in them. Pecans cannot be wet either.

You can bring your pecans in any container you like. We will weigh your pecans on a certified scale and then if we need to we will weigh back your container and subtract its weight to get the total weight of just the pecans.

All the pecans we buy are either shipped to national shelling companies here in the U.S. or are shipped over to China. We DO NOT resale any of the pecans we buy. The only pecans we retail are the ones we grow in the Montz Orchards out in Charlie.
